Disoriented
"Disoriented" is an artwork inspired by the Italian painter, Giovanni Boldini, known as the “Master of Swish” for his flowing style of painting. Boldini's work portrayed quick, vibrant brush strokes of paint that illustrated light, movement, and an exciting energy. For this piece, I incorporated movement as a strong component to emphasize the emotion behind the blur in the subject's upper body. There are times when one can feel a sense of disorientation due to a heavy mind or overloaded life.

Artist Statement
I believe magic is within the unseen. One can be saved by the little joys of life and that is what drives my photography. Creating visuals goes beyond looking at forms and elements coming together in a single piece – creating visuals is seeing and comprehending the emotions and messages that can be communicated and transformed to have a significant impact on someone out there. My work speaks for me in a way when words can’t be used. If you ask me, it is always a blessing to be surrounded by artists as they can keep one inspired, excited, and motivated. I’ve been inspired by those who do not take visuals literally but rather symbolically.
