Hand painted silk scarf. Being in a grove of trees with the sunlight dancing through the leaves can be a transcendent experience. Silk has a luminescence and purity of color which can remind one of the joy of being in a quiet patch of forest.

Artist Statement
Amy began making things when she discovered sticks and mud as a toddler, and has been creating ever since. Though she retains a fondness for sticks and mud, she has branched out into fiber arts, photography, fine arts, and computer art. She enjoys gardening (sticks and mud!), herding cats, and runs Amy's Home for Wayward Orchids.
