Mastercopy of California Sky by Erin Hanson
A study based on a quarter off of the massive 96 x 72 in painting, "California Sky" by Erin Hanson.
I decided to do a mastercopy of a part of this piece because Hanson's use of color leads me on a playful journey through a world that she shares through her canvas. I worked to capture the ideas that gave her the courage to experiment and the skill to make it enchanting by studying her creative process.
