Ocean of Possibilities
This was a piece made for Out Loud at UMOCA. This is a two block linocut print that was printed at home without a press. I used a split fountain technique to apply multiple colors on each block. First I printed the green and yellow background on the first block. Then I printed the red, pink, and purple on the second block. This piece is about wanting to see yourself represented in the world around you by creating a connection to nature.

Artist Statement
My name is Rylie Nadauld I am a SLCC student studying geology. My goal is to become a paleontologist however I am also passionate about art. I enjoy all different kinds of art. I am a very creative person and use art as an outlet for that.
