Rosie, Boop!
This is a sculpture of my dog Rosie. This was made in my ceramics class using slabs of clay. The goal was to make something geometric. I used a sgraffito technique to etch in details around the entire piece. Each detail relates to my dog somehow. My favorite is the word “Boop!” scratched across the nose.

Artist Statement
My name is Rylie Nadauld I am a SLCC student studying geology. My goal is to become a paleontologist however I am also passionate about art. I enjoy all different kinds of art. I am a very creative person and use art as an outlet for that.
