Bedtime Bestie

This piece was my final project for my package design class. The goal was to create something considered to be kitsch. I created not only the package but the doll using an existing doll base. The only original pieces left on the doll are the porcelain face and hands and white collar. The original paint on the face was removed and repainted by hand. My goal was to create something seemingly sweet that is also slightly creepy. The inside of the package includes a fun insert and a working music box. The doll comes with a hand painted letter block to sit on outside of the box.
